Kaleidoscopic Beauty: A Collection of Poetry on Love, Loss and the Beauty of the Natural World (review)

A beautiful collection of rich poems. Gentle and easy to read. I found myself floating from one to the next. I find Karen’s writing a calming experience. I also believe however gentle the words are on the whole that there is real substance and layers to each poem, I think there are even darker layers hidden beneath a lighter exterior. My personal favourite is Broken Dreams, I thought about it a lot after reading, it is very simple but hit me straight between the eyes. Well dissevering of 5 stars and I look forward to reading more of this very talented poets work.

Karen’s fantastic work is available on all Amazon sites.

Book Number Deux

My newly released second book of poems is free on Amazon Kindle this weekend.

(Reviews on Amazon, Goodreads or both would be much appreciated)

Following on from the first book, Further Thoughts is one man’s view of the world around him. It is a candid expression of the trials that come with battling mental health demons, the exhaustion that comes with the search and pursuit of happiness and the inner peace that is achieved once finding it.

Words From An Unlikely Poet

Hi all,

My book will be available for free on Kindle between tomorrow and Sunday.

I would hugely appreciate it if you could spare the time to download it, have a flick through it and leave me a review on Amazon. I think there is an option on there for you to lend it to someone if you do so chose, you may not, you may think its awful.

British Amazon link as follows below, I am not sure if this link will work in the States etc but if you type the title of this post into Amazon it should come up.

Book Cover Idea 5

After many weeks of frustration, perfectionism and recent reluctant compromise, I have finally got together  kindle/paperback versions of my book that I am happy with. Kindle is available on Amazon now for 0.99p and contains some of my personal favourites. Paperback is available at £4.50 (I get £1 from that) I know it is a bit more expensive but anything less seemed pointless.

Thank you to everyone who has commented on my poetry in such a positive way on this blog, it has given me a platform to write and self publish my work and get it out there to a wider audience. (if it pays for a new couch in the meantime that would be a bonus)
